    RealREPP, a full service commercial Real estate recruiting firm is teaming with a extremely stable and aggressively growing multifamily owner/developer/operator in hiring for a VP of Development in the Greater Atlanta Area! The ability to work remote within the region, flexible working, family-culture, and collaborative. Computer, phone, etc provided.

     

    This person will play a key role in a dynamic growth and the company expands it's footprint across the nation and will be a key player on the ground on the region. We are looking for an energetic self-starter, driven, hardworking, and collaborative team member with proven abilities in multi-family development, affordable housing and experience developing multi-family residential communities.

    Required Qualifications :
    Key Responsibilities Include



    • Be extremely knowledgeable of state and local affordable housing programs, qualified allocation plans (“QAP’s”), tax credit, and any other vehicle to procure financing for affordable housing projects (verifiable and proven track record);

    • Source viable parcels of land for the purpose of affordable housing and market rate housing including the negotiation of favorable terms with land sellers;

    • All aspects of review during a land contract inspection period, inclusive of (but not limited to) title review, environmental, entitlement risk, fee estimation, etc.

    • Prepare and submit relevant subsidy applications through various municipal programs;

    • Land Seller relationship & contract compliance;

    • Provide bi-monthly status reports on each project that is in application cycle process, pre-development, under construction, or pending conversion.

    • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required and a minimum of in real estate development/architecture. Master’s degree preferred.

    • Strategic mindset.

    • Adherence to Policies and Procedures, along with documenting and implementing.

    • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate with executive-level Board of Directors, City officials, land owners, etc.

    • Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel
